Let The Right Dad In is the second issue of the five-book series Dream Daddy: A Dad Dating Comic Book. It is written by Lee C.A., illustrated and colored by Jack Gross, and lettered by Hassan Otsmane-Elhaou, and released on September 26, 2018.
There's a new Dad in the cul-de-sac... and he's already sunk his fangs into the neighborhood! But Robert knows a vampire when he sees one, and he's armed with enough garlic and rewatches of F.W. Murnau's Nosferatu (1992) to get to the bottom of this mystery.

Robert, learning of his new neighbor, contemplates his humanity, repeatedly thinking to himself while observing him unload his belonging into their Victorian home. He notes the new guy's appearance: purple eyes, a framed bat figure, a decorative crucifix amulet that hangs north-point down. Though he perceived him a vampire, Robert could not move forward in his investigation, citing inability to shift his schedule.
Later that night, Robert ends his conversation with bartender Neil and strolls through the town, smoking a cigarette and noting that lack of liveliness in the streets. Soon, however, he felt a presence nearby; keeping his distance, he tails the mysterious figure to the railed boardwalk. Though he edged his fingers closer to his pocket knife, Robert was startled upon hearing the voice as well as seeing the face. The vampire suggested aiding Robert in finding his way around town, but the human dropped his unsheathed knife from his pocket, bolting away from the immediate area.
Then he awakened in his bed, the chimes of his phone to a new message from Craig. Exhausted, he dressed for the day and made his appearance at the neighborhood cookout. Standing by himself, he notices a red, donut-shaped gelatin, commenting on its creator's intentions beofre being interrupted by a recognizable voice. The familar vampire informed him of his recipe and effort into creating the gelatin, later introducing himself to him as Damien Bloodmarch. Skeptical of his name, Robert continued to converse with his new neighbor about the house and Damien's dark hobbies.
